Tonight at 7:00 pm, through our Facebook page, we will have the opportunity to watch the ballet performance “Stabat Mater” and “Faun” staged by Edward Clug performed in the National Theater Sarajevo.
The author's team and associates of the cast are: director Aida Jažić, costume designer and set designer of the play “Stabat Mater” (GB Pergolesi) Jordi Roig, assistant choreographer Gay Žmavc, costume designer “Fauna” Amna Kunovac Zekić, soloists and ensemble of the NPS Ballet, soloists and members of the Opera Choir NPS and Sarajevo Philharmonic.
“Stabat Mater” is one of Pergolesi's most famous sacral compositions composed in 1736 in the last weeks of the composer's life, in the Franciscan monastery in Pozzuoli.
The Ballet of the National Theater Sarajevo in May this year marked 70 years of existence. Thank you NPS for participating in the “Grad” Festival program this year as well.

Večeras u 19:oo sati putem naseg facebook-a imat cemo priliku pogledati baletnu predstavu “Stabat Mater” i “Faun” koje je na scenu NPS postavio Edward Clug.
Autorski tim i saradnike predstave čine: dirigentica Aida Jažić, kostimograf i scenograf predstave “Stabat Mater” (G.B. Pergolesi) Jordi Roig, asistent koreografa Gay Žmavc, kostimograf “Fauna” Amna Kunovac Zekić, solisti i ansambl Baleta NPS, solisti i članovi hora Opere NPS i Sarajevska fiharmonija.
“Stabat Mater” jedno je od najslavnijih Pergolesijevih sakralnih djela komponovano 1736. godine u posljednjim sedmicama kompozitorovog života, u franjevačkom samostanu u Pozzuoliju. Balet Narodnog pozorišta Sarajevo u maju ove godine obiljezio je 70 godina postojanja. Hvala NPS na ucescu i ove godine u programu Fesitvala “Grad”.
